8 BBCC boats and 1 MWYC boat cruised to the picnic site on Rowington Embankment for our annual Bonfire. Despite wind and showers on Saturday and Sunday morning the evening of the Bonfire was dry and relatively mild, so most boaters stayed the course till ever scrap of wood was gone. Thanks to Steve for the preparation of the site and Angela of MWYC for the giant sparklers that kept everyone amused…. and of course the huge amount of cakes, doughnuts and mince pies etc that all our members brought along and shared.
