July 2021 work parties

The club site was affected by the heavy rain in the Solihull area on Friday 25th June 2021. The culvert which takes the Cuttle Brook under the canal could not cope with the volume of water, consequently this backup up flooding the lower site including the storage garages. Hence the scheduled July work party and two additional Sunday work parties concentrated on salvaging items which had been under 4 feet of water. Some items were deemed beyond rescue, however, most of the these being redundant items previously used for rallies.

We do have a large 20 foot by 40 foot marquee to sell if anyone is interested.

Thanks to the members who worked hard to sort out and dry out the recovered items.

The ride on mower is now off site for repairs.
