Sunday 12th January.

A lot of tidying up performed. The Christmas decorations were put away in the loft (yes, they were taken down on 12th night to avoid any bad luck). Outside jobs included removing lots of soggy damp leaves, removing grass that is still growing from the driveways, draining the large puddles and edging the path way to the north moorings.

Fortunately the weather was warm, dry and sunny during the work party. However, a heavy shower just prior to the start made the underfoot conditions even wetter.

Hopefully better weather to come in the coming months. One sign of spring spotted – some snowdrops on the lower compound.

First snowdrops on the site.
